Solihull Advanced Motorists (SAM) was formed in 1990 and is a registered charity (no. 1054280) affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). The aim of the group is to help its' members to pass the Advanced Driving Test. This is achieved via a combination of theory courses and in-car coaching, usually over a 10-week period.
How can the Group help me?
Solihull Advanced Motorists affords its members varied opportunities for improving their driving technique. In preparing for their IAM Test, typically, our members enjoy 1 to 1 coaching in their own cars with a Group Observer. Upon successful completion of their test, members might like to undergo further training to become a Group Observer.
As an Associate member you may attend our monthly social meetings, take part in our Driving Theory classes and, enjoy 1 to 1 practical in-car tuition for FREE. Associates also receive a free copy of the IAM's manual 'Pass Your Advanced Driving Test'.
I'm interested - How do I find out more?
