Driving CoursesThe Theory Courses are conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner in a classroom type setting where all the knowledge and techniques of advanced driving are presented and discussed. Questions are encouraged and willingly answered so everyone is happy with their understanding of them.
Everyone who attends finds them informative and very beneficial, particularly as they do not have to concentrate on driving at the same time. If however you can’t attend any of the sessions, your observer will go through the techniques during your in-car observed drives. Solihull Advanced Motorist's run 3 courses each year - mid January, mid April & mid September
Each course offers: * 5 weeks of classroom based theory sessions to learn the techniques. * Allocated Observer for all your in car drives preparing for the IAM test. * Up to 10 in-car drives of around 1 1/2 hours duration each (Associates drive their own car). * A pre-test activation check drive with a senior observer prior to taking the IAM test.
